VETERINARY SERVICES
WE CARE FOR ALL YOUR
PETS

At Linwood Animal Clinic, we don't
just provide veterinary care for your dog & cat friends, but we provide health
care services for your exotic companions as well. Our Veterinarians are trained in
exotic veterinary medicine to deal with health care issues that are specific to
certain unusual pets. No matter how exotic your pet is, we will help you to
maintain a healthy lifestyle for your special companion.

COMPLETE LABORATORY ANALYSIS
Linwood Animal Clinic maintains an
in-house laboratory which can provide analysis quickly. For more
comprehensive veterinary laboratory testing, we send your pets'
samples to a
nearby facility that provides detailed laboratory results within
hours. This gives us the ability to quickly diagnose your pet's
medical condition and select the right form of treatment.

PET
DENTISTRY
Pets
with routine dental care typically live longer and healthier lives.
Pets with dental disease constantly release bacteria from their
mouths into their bloodstream (i.e. bacteremia), resulting in
inflammatory changes in the heart, liver, and kidney tissue in
otherwise healthy animals. This problem may be exacerbated in pets
that already have other existing diseases. Periodontal disease
is not only painful, but is a major health risk for your pet.
Most frequently, pets with oral pain “suffer in silence”.
Dental disease is preventable! Let us give your pet a complete
dental check up and advise you on how to keep your pet's teeth clean
and healthy for a long and pain-free lifetime.
M ICROCHIP
LOCATION TECHNOLOGY
Every day a beloved family pet is lost.
Tragically, most never make it back home because their owners didn't identify
them. The MicroChip is the professional way to identify your pet and is
proven safe and effective.
We
offer microchipping service for your
pets. A small chip, the size of a rice
grain, is injected under the skin of
your pet. The procedure is very safe,
it’s like getting a vaccination. The chip
is encoded with a unique id number that
is registered to you. If your pet ever
gets lost and is brought to an animal
shelter or clinic they are scanned to
see if they have a microchip, if they
have a chip, national data base center
can be called to locate the owner. We
offer ISO certified microchips that are
required for travel to many
international destinations. Just
like a vaccination, it is injected under the skin of your pet where it remains
safely for life. This inexpensive procedure can be done anytime and
protects virtually any pet in your household.
